NEW I really love this 0.31ct old mine cut diamond solitaire ring. It has a beautiful heart shaped detail to the setting and is made in 18ct white and yellow gold. The setting isn't too tall, it's quite dainty - perfect for someone with slim fingers, very wearable and has plenty of sparkle. It's a really lovely ring, the claws have been re-tipped and it's good to go. Perfect for a proposal or as a treat for you.

Art Deco Emerald & Diamond Ring

NEW This beautiful Art Deco emerald and diamond ring dates from the early to mid 20th century. It is hand made from 18ct white gold and platinum, not unusual at the time - white gold is easier to shape than platinum and so that would have been used for the settings. It has a laterally split triple wire band that terminates in the claw settings for the six, single cut diamonds. The square step cut emerald measures approx 5.3 x 5mm /0.56ct and is a good strong green in colour.

Victorian 18ct Gold and Turquoise Ring

NEW This sweet little Victorian turquoise ring is so lovely. It has a split shank and granulation details around a central oval turquoise cabochon.

It's in great condition, is hand made and was hallmarked for Chester, the makers mark says BHJ.

Octagonal Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

NEW This octagonal shaped platinum ring is set with a 0.44ct old mine cut diamond and dates from the early 20th century.

It's in great condition, the ring is quite modern and it's set with a good coloured old mine cut measuring approx 4.4mm in diameter.

Three stone diamond trilogy ring

NEW This is a lovely hand made yellow and white metal antique diamond trilogy ring is set with an early brilliant cut diamond, with old mine cut diamonds either side and rose cut diamond accents on the shoulders. It's made from 15ct yellow gold and silver, so circa early 1900's.

The central diamond is approx 0.46ct (approx 5mm diameter) and the two mine cut diamonds either side are 0.04ct each. It's in lovely condition and has been retipped so that the diamonds are safe and sound, ready for you to wear.

Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring

This is a lovely hand made Victorian, 3 stone sapphire ring in 18ct gold, with diamond accents. It was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1897 - the same year as Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee (60 years). A real piece of history and in lovely condition.

It has decorative carved scrolling shoulders, beside 3 claw set blue sapphires and 8 old cut diamonds

Old Mine Cut Solitaire Diamond Ring with Tulip Shoulders

This is a beautiful old mine cut solitaire diamond ring, on an 18ct gold decorative tulip style band - I really rate this. The old mine cut diamond weighs approx 0.60 carats.

The band on this is thin at the back - see the photos. I would advise that for every day wear, it has a new half shank and the ideal time to do this is when it is resized, I'll also have the claws re-tipped for you at the same time It's currently a size G1/2 - a pinky ring, but would size up to a K. It is valued in it's current condition at £2250 and in my opinion it's well worth spending the money to put a half shank on it. It's really lovely - I'd happily keep this for myself.

Vintage Ruby and Diamond Quatrefoil Ring

This fell into the category of "too lovely to not buy" even though it's not a sapphire! It's a hand made yellow gold (18ct) vintage, ruby and diamond quatrefoil ring. A perfect Valentines present/proposal or ruby wedding present perhaps?

The head measures 9.5 x 9.5mm approx. Its in lovely condition too.

It features four round faceted rubies and five single cut diamonds. Size N1/2, very unusual and beautifully made.

Navette Shaped Cluster Ring

This is nice, it's a yellow and white metal (14ct) navette shaped vintage cluster ring set with three old european cut diamonds and rose cut diamond accents.

The head measures 14.5 x 11.5mm approx. Its in lovely condition.

There are 3 old european cut diamonds totalling approx 0.45ct plus some rose cut diamond melee. Size P, really lovely, just pop it on and enjoy.

Three Bar Old Cut Diamond Ring

An unusual 15ct yellow gold three bar ring set with an old cut diamond. This is a cracker of a ring and has a unisex feel about it. It's a statement piece and could make an nice wedding ring for a chap who's not afraid of a bit of bling. Likewise I'd be very happy to wear this too.

The old mine cut diamond is 0.70ct, and the ring is a size Q. This one would be a bit tricky to resize due to the style of the band - however there are ways and means to do this.

15ct gold was the standard back in Victorian times (from around 1854), but was discontinued in 1932, making pieces in 15ct gold quite rare and collectable.
