The inspiration for it comes from Lindisfarne on the wild Northumberland coast, a tranquil, windswept isle that’s cut off by the tide twice a day.  As the tide ebbs, it reveals a vast expanse of sand, pebbles and other tidal treasures around which you can see the patterns left by the receding sea.  Each of my flow rings takes these patterns as inspiration.

Each ring will use beautiful blue sapphires, usually from Sri Lanka, but occasionally from other parts of the world such as Australia, Montana or Malawi.  They will always be conflict free, ethically and responsibly sourced. You’re very welcome to reuse your own gold in this ring, alongside your own gemstones (as long as they will fit).  A bespoke version of this ring can be made, as can a two piece ring to wear as a wedding and engagement set.

My 18ct white gold rings are not rhodium plated, instead, I use a high quality gold alloy that does not require this – this is more expensive at the start, but saves you the cost and hassle of having your rings re-plated every 6-12 months.

This unconventional engagement ring is also vegan and vegetarian friendly – no animal products are ever used in the making of my jewellery, in my workshop or packaging.

Each one is made to order before being hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office.  Your ring will be made to order and delivered in 4-6 weeks.
