Aura Engagement Ring
£1,150.00 – £7,345.00
Beautiful and comfortable, this “Aura” ring is made from 100% recycled gold or platinum, alongside, ethical, responsibly sourced gemstones. Fair trade gold is also available, please ask for a quote.
My white gold rings are not rhodium plated, instead, I use high quality gold alloys that do not require this – this is more expensive at the start, but saves you the cost and hassle of having your rings re-plating every 6-12 months.
An approx 2mm diameter round profile band, available in brushed, shiny or hammered finish with your choice of a fully traceable, responsibly sourced, approx 5mm gemstone.
This ring can be made with a laboratory created or natural diamond, however prices will be quoted based on the 4 C’s (carat weight, cut, colour, clarity). Please get in touch to have a conversation about your ideal diamond and and for me to provide a quotation.
With their modern, minimal finish, good sized stone and no bits to catch on clothing, these clean and elegant rings are rightly a popular choice. A matching shaped to fit wedding ring can also be made.
Whether you choose this as an ethical, responsibly sourced engagement ring or as a dress ring, you won’t be disappointed. These can be made in silver too, just get in touch and let me know what you’re looking for.
Each gemstone is responsibly sourced and meets the principles of Fair Trade. Every stone mined will be different, so if you’d like to know more about your gemstone, or choose from a selection, please let me know.
These gemstones come from Sri Lanka or Tanzania. The miners work in safe conditions, with fair pay, no children work in the mines and these gemstones do not fund wars or civil unrest. I’ve chosen to work with these gemstones and mines, because they do the most good for the artisans who mine them. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more.
This ethical and eco friendly collection is also vegan and vegetarian friendly – no animal products are used in the making of my jewellery.
Each of my wedding and engagement rings is made to order and takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the order date, to be created. Customised wedding and engagement rings take 6-8 weeks.
Small pieces of jewellery from my silver collections are usually processed and delivered within 3 to 4 working days. Bangles and rings are made to order.
Items costing less than £50 will be posted via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For. For items valued over £50, Royal Mail Special Delivery provides and insured service. UK postage and packing is FREE.

CAN’T FIND YOUR RING SIZE ON THE WEBSITE?
If you can’t find your size in the drop-down menu, just send me an email with your requested size and I’ll send you a quote. If it’s smaller than the sizes given on the website, the price will remain the same, if it’s larger it will be a little more expensive.
Ideally you’ll know the right size to order, but if not, there’s a few things I can suggest.
If your partner/fiancée has a ring you know that fits their engagement ring finger, you can send it to me and I’ll take a sizing from it. Alternatively nip it in to your local jeweller and they should be able to tell you the size too.
I can send you a plastic ring sizer, or a set of metal ring sizers (a deposit is required), if your other half is a heavy sleeper, or if it’s not a surprise proposal.
You could also enlist the help of one of their friends with a jewellery shopping trip in order to find out their size.
There are also ways of estimating finger size, based on the size of other fingers – drop me an email for a chat about this.
Most of my engagement and wedding rings offer free resizing within 6 months, so you’re covered if you get it wrong ☺ Rings with flush set scattered diamonds can’t be resized.
I only use ethical, responsibly sourced metals, gemstones and diamonds in my jewellery.
Choose from recycled or fairly traded precious metal
Then choose responsibly sourced and traceable coloured gemstones, that support charitable initiatives where possible
Conflict free natural Canadian, or laboratory created diamonds
Alternatively you could choose antique diamonds (sourced to order, please ask)
No child labour
See my ethos page for further details

Customised pieces, bangles and rings are all made to your specific size and requirements and therefore can not be returned either. Earrings are unable to be returned due to health and safety. If the item is found to be faulty, I reserve the right to repair the item first or re-make the item for you.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
If you’ve purchased a silver item, I aim to post your order within 3-5 working days. Silver bangles and rings are made to your precise size and so take longer. Wedding bands and engagement rings from my collections usually take around 4-6 weeks from the order date to be made. Customised pieces take 6-8 weeks usually and bespoke pieces 10-12 weeks. If you need yours sooner then please let me know and I’ll see if I can meet your deadline.
DO YOU HAVE A SHOWROOM WHERE I CAN TRY YOUR WEDDING AND ENGAGEMENT RINGS?
At the present time, I’m unable to offer you the opportunity to visit my studio and try on wedding and engagement rings. This is due to Covid-19 and distancing advice. For the time being, I’m happy to chat via skype or zoom and show you the rings that way. You can make an appointment here.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY CHOSEN ITEM IS ETHICALLY SOURCED?
I only use fairly traded or recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones and Canadian diamonds for my jewellery. All of my jewellery is ethically sourced, except where you choose antique diamonds. There is no way to find out how or where they were originally mined. You can find out more here. Each of my wedding and engagement rings comes will a certificate stating it’s ethical credentials.
I CAN’T FIND MY SIZE ON YOUR WEBSITE, WHAT IF MY FINGER SIZE IS BIGGER OR SMALLER, CAN YOU ALSO MAKE IT?
Yes – just drop me an email for a quote and advice on how to go about ordering. Requests for smaller sized rings will be quoted at the same price. Larger sizes will be a little more expensive.
CAN I ASK FOR MY WEDDING OR ENGAGEMENT RING TO BE IN A DIFFERENT FINISH E.G. MATT OR HAMMERED?
Yes, you can. Don’t forget, I’m happy to customise any piece to make it a bit more “you”. Find out more here.
I CAN ONLY SEE RECYCLED GOLD ON YOUR WEBSITE. CAN I HAVE THIS RING MADE IN FAIRLY TRADED GOLD INSTEAD?
Yes, absolutely. Please drop me an email and I’ll provide a quote. Recycled metal is slightly less expensive than fair trade and so your quote will reflect that.
IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE IN COLOUR BETWEEN RECYCLED GOLD AND FAIRLY TRADED GOLD?
No. Whether your jewellery is yellow, rose or white gold, the colour will be the same, whether you choose recycled or fairly traded gold.
IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 9CT GOLD AND 18CT GOLD?
Yes. The difference is metal hardness and colour. 9ct is softer and thus slightly less durable than 18ct. There’s also a difference in colour when it comes to yellow gold; 9ct yellow is always slightly whiter than 18ct. 9ct white is a slightly warmer colour than 18ct white, which is more steely due to the palladium white gold alloy I use. 9ct rose gold is more rose/red than 18ct rose gold. I do not plate any of my gold rings, instead I use more expensive gold alloys that don’t need plating. This way you don’t need to worry about the plating wearing off and needing to be redone.
CAN YOU MAKE PALLADIUM WEDDING BANDS?
Yes, I can. Palladium prices are at an all time high, so unless you want a very wide band that might be overly heavy in platinum, I’d suggest you choose platinum – it’s cheaper just now than palladium.
I’M WORRIED THAT I MIGHT BE ALLERGIC TO YOUR WEDDING BANDS?
It’s hard to give a definitive answer as it very much depends on the person. It’s unusual to be allergic to gold, more likely it’s something in the particular alloy. If you know what it is that causes your reaction, get in touch and I’ll try to help. Many people are allergic to nickel, which was alloyed in sterling silver some years ago (it isn’t used any more due to EU regulations) and nickel was sometimes used in white gold alloys, which I also don’t use. My high quality 18ct white gold alloy uses palladium for a better white colour and doesn’t need to be plated.
I’D LIKE TO CUSTOMISE A RING, HOW DOES IT WORK?
It’s easy, just get in touch and lets have a chat about what you’d like to do. I’ll then provide a quotation based on your changes, which will be the standard price plus or minus the cost of the changes.
HOW MUCH DO YOUR CLASSIC BESPOKE PIECES COST?
I quote for each piece individually, based on the type and amount of metal needed, any gemstones or diamonds and the amount of time needed to make your piece. As a rough guide, a bespoke piece in 18ct gold would cost from around £1500. Find out more here.
I’D LIKE TO COMMISSION A UNIQUE PIECE BASED ON OUR TRAVELS, CAN YOU DO THIS?
This sounds like the perfect starting point for one of my story pieces, you can find out more here.
