All website payments are made through Paypal and can be made using all major debit and credit cards. If you would rather pay by another method, such as personal cheque (UK only) or bank transfer, please place your order by phone (013873 81180) or by email. We can take debit and credit card payments over the phone. If you opt to pay for jewellery by cheque, please note work will not start and/or items will not be despatched until your cheque has cleared.
From time to time, you may be offered a voucher code for use in the web shop or at Lisa’s studio. These voucher codes can not be redeemed against commissions/remodelling, only against the collections.
Each item will arrive beautifully packaged in a jewellery box. This will either be a traditional jewellery case (whilst I use up existing stock) or a piece of our recently sourced 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable, vegan, cardboard packaging. We recycle all of our other packaging e.g. jiffy bags, so please note that whilst the jewellery box will be new, the mailing bag will have been used previously.
Delivery & Shipping Information:
United Kingdom postage: £5.45 Royal Mail First Class Signed for, or £7.45 Royal Mail Special Delivery (an insured next day service). I strongly recommend that you use Special Delivery, if you choose not to do so, your parcel will not be insured. Please note: All contact information and delivery information must be submitted accurately and in full to guarantee that the order is dispatched to the correct address. Please contact me if you live out with the UK and I will provide a delivery quotation.
If you require an item for a specific date, do please let me know, or contact me prior to ordering – I will do my best to help. Smaller items, e.g. earrings can usually be dispatched more quickly, larger more expensive items will have a lead time of approx 3-4 weeks and up to 6-8 weeks during busy periods. An email will be sent on order, advising you of lead time. On dispatch, another email will be sent, along with a tracking number to allow you to check on your item’s progress via Royal Mail. If you have not received your goods within the specified time, please contact me and I will check on the progress of your order. Please include as much information about the order as you can along with the date the order was placed.
Due to the nature of my business orders must be cancelled or amended within 24 hours if you no longer wish to proceed with your purchase.
Refunds & Returns:
I hope you will be delighted with your piece of Lisa Rothwell-Young jewellery, however if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please get in touch. Rings, bangles, items that have been personalised or made to your specific size/requirements and earrings, can not be exchanged unless faulty. All other items can be returned, so please notify me and return your item within 14 days of receipt. I am happy to adjust jewellery and resize rings (where possible), charges will apply. Jewellery must be returned in its original packaging and in perfect condition. Refunds are offered at my sole discretion. Items are returned at the buyer’s own cost and risk. It is recommend that you use Special Delivery service to ensure it against loss or damage. Return postage will be refunded if the item is faulty or if any error is made on my part of the order.
Please telephone or email me with a description of what is wrong and I will arrange the repair. For repairs due to negligent handling, I will be happy to provide a repair quote.
When placing your order it is your responsibility to provide me with a concise description of any special requirements you may have.
Rings are made to measure in UK sizes. Please quote your ring size at time of order. A charge will be made for any rings that are returned for re-sizing. If you are unsure of your ring size please get in touch with me for advice. It is possible to send out a professional ring gauge to you. This costs £55, however this is refundable on safe return of the gauge. Please note that not all rings can be resized.
Visits to my studio:
Visits to my studio are welcomed and positively encouraged. If you’d like to visit me to see and try on pieces of my jewellery, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Alternatively give me a call on 013873 81180 to make an appointment.
Vegan and Vegetarian:
As a vegan, I understand that you’ll want to exclude animal products from your jewellery. The definition of vegan (as taken from the vegan society website) is that “Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.” I use rubber, cotton and alcantara polishing mops, instead of wool and felt, my polishing compounds do not contain animal fats or waxes. Our new 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and compostable cardboard packaging is vegan – it does not contain any animal glues. I’m more than happy to talk to you about any concerns you might have, so do contact me with any quesions or queries
